Passengers is just a warmed over version of Sixth Sense. If you want to see Sixth Sense remade and not quite so creepy. This is your film. Other wise watch Sixth Sense.

I knew nothing - nothing! - about this movie when it began, and yet within two minutes - two minutes! - I guessed the 'twist' at the end, and then spent the next two-thirds of the film hoping against hope that I was wrong, or at least that it wasn't so simple and dumb as I thought. Then I realised it was exactly that simple and dumb. Not exactly sure why so many people seem to hate Hathaway so much in this - what else could she have done with this role? No-one - no-one! - should watch this.

I don't think it was as predictable as others say. Maybe it's because I didn't see Sixth Sense, but the true reason for this is that the revelation is so stupid that even though it came across my mind about 20 minutes prior I immediately rejected it as "too stupid". Well, I was wrong. It also didn't help that the pacing was awful. Oh, and Hathaway with Wilson were terrible as well.

Wow, that...didn't work. At all.

Vaguely interesting rising action with a easily predictable climax. My biggest problem, though, is Anne Hathaway who always has an uncanny ability to make me want to punch her until she stops breathing.

Some real bad cuts and inappropriately persistent tunes keep it feeling artless and cheesy throughout, but in spite of that and the predictability of the plot, I have to give it kudos for being the extremely rare film where the last ten to fifteen minutes were the clear highlights. Almost doesn't sit right with me to keep a move that eventually made me feel things in the 30s, but it simply isn't an even halfway decent film.

Jolie histoire, qui a le mérite d'être surprenante avec une symphonie fantastique mineur. Patrick Wilson a vraiment un sourire très sexy et est très attachant dans son rôle. Il vole la vedette à Anne Hathaway. J'étais dans un état d'esprit assez simple à la fin du film, en occultant généreusement toutes les incohérences.

All the same ground was already covered--much better--in "The Sixth Sense", despite the far more appealing leads here. It actually starts well with lots of mood and atmosphere, but gets more and more stupid and nonsensical the closer it gets to The Big Twist.

The first legit-bad movie I have seen in a while. The only plus side is recognizing all the locations.

Strange one.. a relatively slow, languid thriller that's 90% paint-by-numbers, 10% balls-out insanity.

I couldn't watch this solely b/c of Patrick Wilson. Seriously, I was so bothered/annoyed in his scenes that I cut the movie halfway off. Tried to rewatch it a few months later, made it through about 15-20 mins before dropping it b/ of him again. This marks the lone time I ever stopped a movie b/c of a particular actor or actress. 15 points for Hathaway being cute in the scenes I could make it through

More predictable than Titanic

Normally I like Anne Hathaway, but her face is so punchable in this movie. She's talking like she's using a fake American accent. But it's a real one. But she's talking like a freakshow anyways. Butchering R's. Seriously, it sounds like a Brit faking an American accent. Oh yeah, the movie's shit by the way.

What a very boring and dreary movie. Trust me, you've seen this ten years ago and it was done so much better than this. The acting was ok, nothing to special. David Morse is usually pretty reliable as well as some of the other members of the cast. This was just a hard movie to follow and to keep interest in.

Thinly veiled "mystery" that so poorly executed, it is hardly watchable. Expect more cheesy romance and intended "deep meaning" that is far off target.

Just another ripoff of "The Sixth Sense."

Predictable and slow.

Anne is great, the story is solid, and remands me of "the sixth sense" in a way.
